On Sunday December 6th come check out what the Seattle Art Museum has to offer in the way of inspiration! There is so much great art in and around Seattle – why not appreciate it. The group will be meeting to bus downtown together, check out what the SAM has to offer and then see if they can capture some part of their own via cameras! Email Joel or Noah with any questions.

Spring Break in New Orleans for Hillel students!!
Each year, UW Hillel partners with the American Jewish World Services to send at least one group of Jewish young adults on a service learning experience in a developing country. Past trips have included El Salvador, Brazil, Nicaragua, Thailand, Honduras, and a Katrina Recovery trip to New Orleans.
This year for spring break, during March 21st-March 28th, UW Hillel is going to New Orleans!! Join Hillel for a great experience with Jewish women from UW this spring by helping with Katrina recovery efforts. This trip includes a cultural exploration, physical labor, Jewish learning, and a Shabbat dinner. This project will be done with students from Hilel all over the world. You are invited to join help re-build New Orleans. If you want to make a difference in the lives of people without food, shelter, and homes, join other women in New Orleans for an unforgetable experience.
Registration is due by January 8th, 2010 with a $200 deposit.

Hi everybody:)
Hello!
The University of Washington Hillel organization finally has a blog! Now you can see updates and new information about events, shabbat dinners, and Jewish Holidays on here! We also have our currently made facebook for all UW undergrads, and of course the UW Hillel website, where a calendar of the month’s happenings and interesting information can be found.
This blog will try to capture the events at Hillel, with descriptions and hopefully pictures too. I am going to try and update it once a week!
I hope it will become a useful place where everyone can get a taste of Hillel and come join the fun!
